Terrain related info

From this we need a simple subset.

Using this vector based system we will have rivers, roads etc available of quit some parts of the world.
Then what remains is to combine this with DEM information (Digital Elevation Maps).

To simplify formula's to convert/handle the Lat/Lon system I suggest we calculate once for the duration of a Sim2War run what the conversion multiplier is from Lat/Lon to metric distance.
Since a conflict will be taking place in a relatively small part of the world the suggested approximation should just work fine.
